Coffalyser.Net uses TCP and UDP port 1231 for communication between the different components of Coffalyser.Net. Communication via this port must be available within your network in order to connect to a Coffalyser.Net server service hosted elsewhere on your network. If you experience connection issues, you (or your IT department) may need to modify your network security settings. TCP port 1231 is used for communication between the client applications (the end-user applications) and the server services, and UDP port 1231 is used for automatic server service discovery. For more information about the components of Coffalyser.Net and the way these may be organised within your network, see this article.
