Where can I find positive samples that can be used with MLPA and digitalMLPA probemixes

Inclusion of positive samples in MLPA or digitalMLPA experiments is usually not required, but can be useful for the analysis of your experiments. MRC Holland has very limited access to positive samples and cannot supply such samples. When available, we recommend using positive samples from your own collection. You can sometimes obtain useful positive samples from online biorepositories, such the Coriell Institute or DSMZ.

We have also tested a large number of commercially available positive samples with many of our MLPA or digitalMLPA probemixes. When available, information about these samples can be found in the Positive samples section on the product page of the product. You can find the relevant product page via our assay finder.

You are welcome to contact us if you know of other positive samples that can be useful for one of our probemixes.

Important
The quality of cell lines available from third parties can change, and these samples are not controlled by us. Therefore, all samples should be validated in-house before use.
