Where can I find the exact sequences recognised by SALSA (digital)MLPA probes?

in Product Information
  • MLPA
  • digitalMLPA

Complete target sequences of most conventional MLPA probes can be found in an Excel file titled Probe sequences under the heading Other Downloads on the product page. The product description for many probemixes also contains information about the ligation site and the 24 nt surrounding the ligation site.

Complete target sequences of digitalMLPA probes are not available, but the Probe Information File (PIF) of the probemix contains partial target locations of most probes.

The exact target sequence of some (digital)MLPA probes is not available, as this is considered proprietary information.

Contact us if you need more information to verify a single-probe copy number variation or another type of unexpected result. We can also assist you in determining if an identified SNV/mutation is expected to affect a probe's signal.
