Is it a problem if there is precipitation in the SALSA MLPA Buffer?

Occasionally, a precipitate can form in the SALSA MLPA Buffer. This is normal and is not indicative of a problem with the product. However, this precipitate should be redissolved before use of the buffer.

To redissolve the precipitate, warm the buffer by placing the vial in hot water (around 65–70°C) for a few minutes. Let the vial cool down to room temperature and vortex until the precipitate disappears.

It is important to always thoroughly mix the solution before use (e.g. by vortexing).
