How do I update the product sheets in Coffalyser digitalMLPA?

Coffalyser digitalMLPA™ requires a lot-specific product sheet to analyse digitalMLPA™ data. Product sheets are part of the Configuration module of the software, and cannot be updated independently from the rest of the software modules. To obtain new product sheets, you need to download a new version of the software package via your MRC Holland account on our website.

Important
Review the release notes to determine if the new version contains other changes that may be important to you.

Background

Coffalyser digitalMLPA consists of several modules that are bundled in a single software package. Product sheets are part of the Configuration module. When new product sheets are released, the Configuration module is updated, and a new download of Coffalyser digitalMLPA becomes available on our website.

Any change to the modules, including the Configuration module, will result in a new version number for the entire software package. You should always check the release notes to determine if other changes have been made that might affect your analysis. In most cases, new versions will only have changes to the Configuration module that do not impact existing product sheets. However, other modules and existing product sheets may also be updated occasionally.

Note
Coffalyser.Net, for analysis of conventional MLPA experiments, uses a different system in which product sheets can be updated from within the software without a change in version number. For more information, see the Coffalyser.Net Reference Manual.
