SALSA^® MLPA^® and digitalMLPA™ reagents are supplied in reagent kits. These reagent kits contain the general reagents that you need from MRC Holland, which can be used together with an application-specific probemix. Additional reagents may be required in some cases, such as barcode plates for digitalMLPA experiments, and HhaI for methylation-specific assays.

Reagent kits are not included with the purchase of an MLPA or digitalMLPA probemix, and must be ordered separately. A single reagent kit can be used together with multiple application-specific probemixes.

SALSA Melt Assay reagents are part of the assay itself and are included with the purchase of a Melt Assay.

The reagents in MLPA and digitalMLPA reagent kits can be purchased individually, but this is not recommended in most situations. Reagents for Melt Assays cannot be purchased individually.
